Traffic restrictions that were previously in place in Vilia, Greece, due to a wildfire have been lifted as of July 16, 2026. The Hellenic Police had implemented these measures to ensure public safety and facilitate emergency response efforts related to the fire, which began around 2:40 PM in a forested area near Agia Paraskevi in the municipality of Mandra.
Subsequent to the firefighting efforts, authorities confirmed that normal traffic flow has resumed in the region. They noted that the situation has been stabilized, allowing residents and vehicles to move freely without the restrictions that were previously enforced in response to the unfolding fire incident.
