Ratings apply to outlets, not articles. Each source carries a political-lean rating on a five-point scale (Left, Center-Left, Center, Center-Right, Right) and a factuality grade. Every article inherits its outlet’s rating. That is what powers the distribution bar in Compare.

Made by people, reviewed in the open. No international database rates Cypriot media, so the classifications are our own editorial calls, recorded with a written rationale per outlet. They are under active editorial review ahead of launch, and we publish changes when we make them.
