Kensington Palace announced that Prince George will begin attending Eton College in September 2026. The 12-year-old is the son of the Prince of Wales, William, and will be following the path of his father, who also studied at the prestigious institution. Eton College, located near Windsor Castle, is known for its elite status and traditional values, educating boys aged 13 to 18.
Currently, Prince George is completing his final year at Lambrook School in Berkshire, where he studies alongside his siblings. Eton College, which enrolls around 1,350 students each year, is characterized by its historic traditions, including a distinctive uniform similar to a tailcoat. This transition marks an important milestone in Prince George's educational journey as he steps into a renowned educational environment.
