The Cyprus Transmission System Operator reported that the issue was linked to the shutdown of a production unit at the Vasiliko power station. Power was restored to affected areas by 8:37 PM the same day. Repair crews were mobilized promptly to address the situation. The outage led to a loss of approximately 60 MW of power supply during that time.
