The deadline for filing tax returns for individuals and legal entities for the 2025 tax year has been officially extended to July 24, 2026, according to an announcement from the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE). This extension responds to requests from various market stakeholders and aims to facilitate the process for taxpayers.
Prior to this announcement, the original deadline was set for July 15, 2026. The AADE clarified that the decision is intended to manage the workload and address potential technical issues that taxpayers may encounter during the filing process. Reports indicate that over six million initial tax returns have already been submitted by taxpayers.
