An investigation is underway following a violent altercation in Ayia Napa that resulted in four injuries. The incident occurred early in the morning outside a night club, where a confrontation between multiple individuals escalated to a stabbing. The police identified two Israeli tourists, aged 21 and 22, as suspects in the case. The 21-year-old is alleged to have been the primary attacker, while the 22-year-old is also facing charges for his involvement in the incident.
Both suspects have been detained as the investigation proceeds. The 21-year-old was remanded for eight days, while the 22-year-old has been held for seven days. Witnesses reportedly indicated that the 21-year-old may have been intoxicated during the altercation. The injuries sustained by the four victims, all of whom are Cypriot citizens, were serious but details on their conditions have not been fully disclosed.
