Five members of the Kargakis family have been released after giving their testimonies regarding their involvement in the placement of a bomb in Vorizia, which is linked to broader violent incidents in the area. Following the statements provided to investigative authorities, the presiding judge and prosecutor decided to free them without imposing any restrictive measures, although some outlets reported that certain family members were released with conditions.
The incident involved an improvised explosive device that detonated at the home of the Frangiadakis family. While the Kargakis family faced charges related to the bombing, they were acquitted of moral complicity in the explosion during this judicial process. Despite their release in connection with this specific case, it was noted that all five individuals remain in custody due to other unrelated legal matters.
