As of July 14, 2026, reductions in fuel prices have begun to take effect at gas stations across Greece. The new pricing includes a discount of 10 cents per liter for unleaded gasoline and 5 cents per liter for diesel, which has been implemented by the Motor Oil company. This measure is expected to provide some relief to consumers who have faced rising fuel costs.
The decrease in prices is attributed to discounts passed down from refineries, aimed at curbing the inflationary pressures associated with the recent surge in crude oil prices. The reductions are set to remain in place until the end of August, benefiting both consumers and businesses during this period of economic fluctuation.
