The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Greece's CrediaBank have signed a financing agreement aimed at supporting investments in the security and defense sectors. The agreement, which totals €100 million, is particularly directed towards small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and mid-sized firms operating within these fields.
Under the terms of the agreement, the EIB has already allocated the first tranche of financing amounting to €50 million, marking the beginning of this collaboration. This initiative is viewed as a pivotal step in enhancing the capabilities of local businesses involved in national security and defense efforts, thereby contributing to overall economic and security objectives in Greece.
