Bitcoin has surged back above $60,000 for the first time in over a week, driven by comments from Federal Reserve Chair Kevin Warsh, who indicated that inflation risks have decreased. Warsh reiterated the Fed's commitment to its 2% inflation target while also suggesting that artificial intelligence could have significant impacts on the economy and monetary policy.
In addition to Bitcoin's notable increase, other cryptocurrencies such as Ether, Solana, and Dogecoin have also seen gains following Warsh's remarks. Solana, in particular, has performed strongly, rising approximately 16% over the past week. Despite the positive movement in the crypto market, there are ongoing concerns regarding Federal Reserve rate hikes and substantial outflows from Bitcoin spot ETFs, leading some analysts to question whether this rally could be a "bull trap."
