A 7.7-meter-long cake was created in Venezuela as a gesture of solidarity for over 3,000 children affected by devastating earthquakes that struck the country on June 24, resulting in more than 5,000 fatalities. The cake, decorated in the colors of the Venezuelan flag, was prepared in Caracas and aims to provide support and comfort to the young victims of this disaster.
The initiative comes as part of wider efforts to aid and uplift those impacted by the tragedy in the Guaira state. Each piece of the enormous cake will be distributed to children in the region, helping to bring a moment of joy in the wake of their loss and suffering. The distribution is intended to foster a sense of community and healing among the affected families as the country continues to cope with the aftermath of the earthquakes.
