Emmanouil Karalis secured first place in the men's pole vault at the Golden Spike meeting in Ostrava, achieving a height of 5.82 meters. His performance was characterized by relative ease, as he faced little competition during the event. Karalis began his series of jumps successfully at 5.62 meters before steadily increasing to his winning height.
Although he attempted to surpass the 6-meter mark, he was unsuccessful on three attempts. After his victory, Karalis celebrated with his family present and engaged with fans by signing autographs. This victory comes as part of his preparation for upcoming European championship events.
