Weather forecasts indicate that Cyprus will experience a shift from predominantly clear skies to isolated showers and thunderstorms over the weekend, as a seasonal low-pressure system affects the region. On Saturday, temperatures are expected to reach around 39 degrees Celsius inland, while areas such as the southeast and east coast will see temperatures around 31 to 35 degrees Celsius.
From Sunday, there will be a notable change in the weather pattern, with predictions of local rain or individual thunderstorms especially in mountainous and inland regions. This follows a clear morning on Saturday, but with increasing cloud cover expected in the afternoon and evening. As these weather changes take place, temperatures are anticipated to gradually decrease starting Sunday and continuing into the following week.
