APOEL, a prominent football club in Cyprus, has secured a financial boost of €1 million from investors who have expressed confidence in the plan proposed by Savvas Liasis, the club's strategic leader. This announcement was made by the club's president, Kyriakos Zivanaris, during the recent Annual General Assembly. The funds are primarily intended to alleviate the club's debts, providing much-needed financial relief.
The initial agreement with Liasis’s investment group has reportedly begun to yield immediate results, boosting the club's overall financial outlook even before a final formalization. The investors will receive shares in return for their investment, further aligning their interests with the future successes of APOEL. This significant influx of capital is expected to enhance the club's operational capabilities and stabilize its financial situation.
