Uganda launches Ebola vaccine trial

The town of Masaka in southern Uganda is currently conducting a Phase 1 trial of a vaccine candidate against the Bundibugyo strain of the Ebola virus, which is circulating in the region. There is currently no approved treatment or vaccine for this strain.
