As it braces for a new heatwave, Spain races to contain wildfires

Fires continue to spread through Spain with one blaze to the west of Madrid now the largest to have swept through the country. Over 50,000 hectares have burnt near the city of Avila, and firefighters are attempting to bring the fires under control ahead of a rise in temperatures.
